Rosebud is about an hour’s drive southwest of Prince George, on the Punchaw Road (also called Blackwater Road, Telegraph Road, or Rancher’s Cutoff), just to the west of Punchaw Lake. To get here travel south on Blackwater Road from Prince George until you hit kilometer 24 on the gravel, where Punchaw Road branches to the right. Take this road for six kilomters, or until you find yourself on top of a large hill surrounded by old-growth Fir and aspen.
